Your role
What does a management assistant for Power Technique Business Area do at Atlas Copco Wilrijk? Well, you have a wide range of tasks and can prioritize between the many responsibilities:

Administration
  • You book and organize business trips for the Vice Presidents, as well as for the employees within the departments.
  • You follow up on invoicing and spending for IT. You draft a consolidated monthly financial overview, based on the input you gather from various reporting sources and organizations.
  • You guide the on/off-boarding process for new joiners/leavers in the organization, ensuring a good first-day experience.
  • You participate in Power Technique-IT management meetings and contribute as a team member during the discussions. You organize the agenda, the practical arrangements and the minutes / open actions and follow-up of the meetings.
  • You manage agenda and mailbox for the Vice President IT.


Organization
  • You arrange visits from external staff, customers or suppliers.
  • You have regular international contacts with employees from different branches worldwide.
  • You prepare the team’s calendar of IT and HR teams, scheduling trainings, summits, workshops and team travels, avoiding conflicts and optimizing efficiency of the entire team.
  • You will support with event management for the IT and HR teams.
  • You align, facilitate, document, update and communicate practical procedures for organizational challenges to ensure a smooth functioning of the organization.


Communication
  • You draft, lay-out and distribute periodic newsletters / Sways / webcasts to the Power Technique Business Area community, based on input of the various stakeholders. You guide the process and ensure timely publishing.
  • You create presentations / blueprints for (re-)use by management.


In this position, you work closely with fellow management assistants in the business area and divisions.

We are a global team working in a hybrid model, with a possibility to work 2 days per week from your home office. You will be based in our offices in Aartselaar, Antwerp.

  • Fluent knowledge of Dutch and English
  • Thorough knowledge of Office 365
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • To be proactive, work autonomously, work accurately and discrete
