Senior Consultant EY-Parthenon (Sector focus: Industries)

EY-Parthenon is a fast-growing service offering within EY Belgium. This is providing new team members broader responsibilities, more exposure to clients and overall, a significant opportunity for personal growth and development.
Therefore EY-Parthenon is looking to recruit a Senior Consultant who is looking for entrepreneurship and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. You will have a key role in the development and execution of the strategy services in our Belgian team.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to business development by preparing client meetings and project proposals and by participating in client discussions;
- Execute client projects and be part of engagement teams to deliver high quality outputs in different industries;
- Contribute to problem structuring and clarification of key issues;
- Suggest approaches to analyze and address the issues;
- Analyze and summarize information, incl. conducting client interviews;
- Draft conclusions and possible recommendations;
- Prepare documents for client communication, incl. proposals and project documents;
- Interact with clients and senior team members from the start;
- Demonstrate deep interest and base knowledge of all phases and aspects of strategy development, transformation and value creation;
- Demonstrate ability to not only identify strategic opportunities, risks and issues, but also to recommend resolutions that fit for purpose;
- Successfully coach and mentor our junior colleagues.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- A minimum of 2-3 years of working experience in a strategy consulting firm and/or in a corporate strategy department;
- A Master’s degree in civil/business engineering or economics. An MBA degree will be considered as a strong asset;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a practical ability to shape the business agenda and define strategic roadmaps;
- Experience with executing complex business projects, working with multi-disciplinary teams;
- Strong internal and external business development acumen;
- An entrepreneurial spirit, team player and excellent communicator;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Dutch/French and English.
