Function
As part of Digital Operations Software & Data Team you will design innovative software solutions. Our Software & Data Team is recognized for his expertise in writing software for automation of test setups, for digital operator workplace app and for automation of dataflows between OT/IT systems.
Your role is key to realize the digital transformation strategy of Global Operations Factories. You will get challenging and innovative design projects where you can continuous further develop your software and project management skills. You will analyze raw user requests, refine these into design proposals, shape the software architecture, develop the software solution. Coding in C#, work mainly with .NET technology stack. We as team follow standard design principles and test code before production releases, monitor application logging on alerts and errors.
There is a broad software community in Barco and we can rely on a global Barco IT team to support us with On-premise & cloud IT infrastructure needed to run our applications worldwide.
You profile
- Master's degree in Software Engineering
- Has years of relevant experience in software design of Windows Apps, Web Apps, services, Web Api's
- Has a deep knowledge on C#, .NET 8, .Net 4.8 Framework, ASP.NET, WPF, Win Forms, Microsoft Visual Studio
- Experience in Database modeling & T-SQL
- You gain energy from creating and implementing creative and innovative solutions
- You take the digital lead in new challenging projects.
- You handle multiple tasks/projects in parallel and can manage own priorities
- You are positive, assertive and you have a “can do” mentality
- You always challenge the status quo
Knowledge considered as plus:
- Blazor, Win UI
- Entity framework
- Java Script, JQWidgets
- Mulesoft
- OT protocols (OPC-UA, Modbus, Siemens S7, Beckhoff ADS)
- Database admin on SQL Server and SQL serverless, SQL Server Data Tools
- Power Automate, Power BI
- Automation of software testing and build systems (CI/CD)
- Internet Information Server (IIS), Windows Server 2019
- Source code management: SVN, Git
