Your role

develop valuation for complex transactions across a variety of sectors
create financial models and analyze financial statements
create high quality technical presentations and interact with senior client members. Attention to detail is crucial
execute complex transactions by coordinating multiple stakeholders
spot problems, generate options and recommend solutions
proactively map potential clients and transaction ideas

Your team

You’ll be working in the Mergers & Acquisitions Middle Market team in São Paulo at UBS BB. UBS BB is a Joint Venture between UBS, one of the largest banking institutions globally and Banco do Brasil, the one of largest banks in the country. As an Investment Banking Analyst, you’ll play a important role in the full cycle process of transactional execution including idea generation, preparing marketing pitches, reviewing and formulating financial analysis.

Your expertise

+3 years of prior experience in M&A as an investment banking, private equity, or corporate development analyst/associate
a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, business administration, engineering or a related field.
solid financial analysis and modelling skills, including LBO and DCF valuation
great communication skills with the ability to interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders
fluent in Portuguese and English, other languages will be considered as a plus
