Program Lead, AWS LATAM Partner Migrations

Due to unprecedented growth in the number of cloud migrations we are expanding our team to the next level. As a leader, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop and deliver on our large migration strategy by working with our key partners to support organizations transition to cloud. You will own the migration goals for our partners in , have an assigned Solution Architect and leverage proven programs and the deep experience and capability across our Solution Architects, Partners, Professional Services, and Business Development team.
AWS partners & resellers include the largest systems integration companies (such as Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini and Cognizant) as well as hundreds of innovative software and services companies who are using AWS to transform their customers. This role will focus on working with select consulting and systems integrator partners, their AWS partner managers and AWS account teams to create compelling commercial propositions that convert pipeline and lead to large enterprises migrating to AWS.
By establishing and growing business and technical relationships, and collaborating closely on joint sales engagements, you will be responsible for driving pipeline, new revenue growth, increased market adoption and the expansion of the partners’ AWS migration practice. The ideal candidate will possess both a business/sales background with a leading consulting or systems integrator that enables them to drive net new migrations to AWS services. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges, with the ability to build strong industry relationships. In this day and age of customer obsession, it is critical that you possess or demonstrate the ability to build the right level of relationships across not just partners but players within the industry. This person is an influencer by nature and must be seen as someone the partners are eager to engage with and have a strong hand on approach.
Key job responsibilities
Leading the Partner Migration Program for VMWare in Latam entails the following:
- Own the Partner Core goals for MAP in terms of AWS and Partner Originated MAP wins and Partner recruitment and enablement in Latam
- Identify and develop Migration Competency partners for >insert region > and support local partner leadership on MAP goals
- Actively participate in the evolving strategy of the program by making meaningful contributions to key narratives and planning documents developed from the central program team. Both providing insight from the execution of the program locally and thinking big about how the program can evolve
- Support partners on the MAP opportunities and be a migration subject matter expert to help close SI partner migration deals and work with colleagues to leverage the AWS migration program funding
- Lead the enablement of internal and external partner teams on AWS migration programs
Within the APN Core Latam, the Latam Partner Migrations team (PMP team) is a group of Business Development professionals goaled on winning AWS and Partner Originated MAP migrations. The individuals are experts on AWS’ MAP program and are responsible for driving the Partner enablement and execution within a region, with a primary focus on VMWare migrations. Given the strategic importance of migrations and modernization we are recruiting a Business Developer to drive our partner strategy in a specific region. The individual will develop a community of partners across Latam and supplement the regional leads to drive GTM and sales pursuits.
