What we are looking for
As a Senior Compliance Manager your role will involve ensuring that our operations comply with relevant laws and regulations, managing risk, offering legal advice, reviewing contracts/communications and fostering a culture of compliance across the organization.
What you will work on
- Provide expert legal advice and support to various departments
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Monitor and analyze changes in legislation affecting the i Gaming industry, ensuring the company adapts accordingly
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements, corporate governance and industry standards
- Handle litigation and dispute resolution, working closely with external legal teams as necessary
- Respond to official consumer protection channels such as Procon and Consumidor.gov
- Support the ombudsman team in drafting responses to complaints.
- Conduct compliance training for employees
- Collaborate with other departments to align legal strategy with business objectives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors
- Manage and mentor the compliance team, fostering a collaborative and proactive compliance culture
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in compliance within the i Gaming or gambling sector
- In-depth knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance frameworks
- Experience with consumer protection agencies such as Procon
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Certification in compliance (e.g., CRCM, CAMS) is a plus
