Your role as a Sr. Data Steward is crucial to our mission at Johnson & Johnson. We seek the best talent for our Centers of Excellence (Co Es) in Latin America, where you will play a pivotal part in the data and digital transformation of the region.
Main Responsibilities:

• Data life-cycle management

o Manage processes to support acquisition, integration, and distribution of data.
o Handle current data inventory, ensure appropriate usage of data, and establish metrics to measure the data quality.
o Create and update data catalogs to provide a comprehensively view of data domains.

• Data Quality

o Assess data quality requirements.
o Track and Evaluate data quality issues under a DQ CI framework: Data Quality Improvement Lifecycle.
o Manage & communicate with COE team members about data validation in place and/or in-progress.
o Determine the business impact level of data quality issues.
o Prevent and/or timely resolve problems regarding the data quality under their responsibility.
o Determine the root cause for data quality errors and make recommendations for long-term solutions (Process, People, and Technology)
o Develop process improvements to enhance overall data quality. It includes addressing the inclusion of technology solutions with IT.
o Develop and execute data cleanup events.
o Work with other Co E members and businesses to define acceptable levels of data quality.
o Design and monitor data quality scorecards.

• Data Governance

o Establish the tasks to ensure data governance from the business, operational, technical, and project points of view.
o Establish, promote, and implement data governance rules, policies, and standards.
o Identify and track key business terms.
o Identify business rules and standards definitions for the key data elements.

• Project/Product Management

o Lead in planning, executing, monitoring, and closing our data stewardship projects/products.
o Backlog / Project Scope Management
o Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the project and develop strategies to mitigate and ensure the project stays on track.
o Communication: ensure communication flows effectively between team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, data management analysis, statistics, or a related field.
• Desirable: deep knowledge of datasets, data management practices (including tools and processes), and relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Confirmed experience with commercial data sources in the pharmaceutical industry: CRM (Veeva), Market Audits, Sales Force Effectiveness, and Digital Omnichannel strategy and execution.
• Experience interpreting and organizing large amounts of data.
• Display good research and organizational abilities.
• Strong technical skills - including Excel, SQL, Qlik Sense, Python, or Power BI
• Fluent English is mandatory.
• Fluent Portuguese or Spanish is necessary.
