Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Controller to oversee our company's financial operations, all financial activities and providing strategic guidance to support the company's growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, managerial skills, and a proven track record of maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts to management, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal control measures to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
  • Team Management: Lead and supervise the accounting team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster a culture of excellence, professional growth, and ensure efficient operations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements, implement best practices, and streamline financial operations to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators, and provide insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Skills and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, pursuing CPA or relevant certification preferred.
  • Proven experience (2 years) in accounting and financial management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive business growth and innovation.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in English and Cantonese an asset.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.
  • Positive attitude, punctuality, and solid work ethic.

Additional Information
Full-time permanent position
The candidate must be available from Monday to Friday 9:00AM - 6:00PM
