Your Role

• Set up and prepare all banquet functions including tables, chairs, and décor.
• Prepare and build buffets with food service equipment.
• Complete final breakdown of functions.
• Assisting with food service and buffet maintenance during meal periods.
• Cleaning and returning equipment to its proper location.
• Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
• Transport dirty linen to correct area to be cleaned.
• Assisting with other banquet service tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Serving It Right Certificate.
• Ability to lift item that weigh up to 23 kilograms (50 pounds).
• Previous food service experience is an asset.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Able to work more than 20 hours/week
• Available to work events on evenings and weekends.

• Hotel Banquet Houseperson: 1 year (required)
