We are looking for caregivers to provide all aspects of personal care in client homes and long-term care facilities. Full-time, part-time and casual positions are available.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
All Aspects of Personal Care (bathing, washing, dressing)
Meal Preparation
Grocery Shopping/Errands
Light Housekeeping
Companion Care
Medication Reminders
Overnight Care
Respite Care (for family members or primary caregivers)
Patient Attendant Services for Hospitals/Facilities
Essential Qualifications:

• Must have clear Criminal Background Check & Vulnerable Sector Check upon hire
• CPR/First Aid Certification is required within 3 months of hire
• Must be able to travel to 74 Pleasant Street, Digby

Additional Preferences (not required):

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is considered an asset, but not a requirement
• Persons with previous caregiving experience can apply, or those who are willing to learn
• Home Support Workers, Personal Support Workers & CCA's can apply
• Current Nursing and/or CCA students can apply
• Retired nurses & healthcare workers can apply
• International Students in Canada with a healthcare background can apply

Salary: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Depending on clients’ schedule preference, shift duration could be a minimum of 4 hours to a maximum of 12 hours
