Full Time / Part Time Cashier


West Coast Gardens is growing and looking to build their team. Their gorgeous destination garden centre is seeking a full-time Cashier with a strong customer focus. West Coast Floral is known for their family values, innovative thinking and exceptional industry standards. Situated on 24 acres with over 3 million plants grown with a gorgeous destination garden centre specializing in ethically homegrown plants for your home and garden. West Coast grows one of the largest succulent selections in Canada.
Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Opening and closing procedures are conducted accurately and efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service and knowledge on all nursery stock
• Keep the retail store stocked with plants and products
• Ensure plants are healthy and well cared for
• Ensure staff are abiding by Health and Safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year cash experience
• A passion for plants and shrubs
• Customer service experience
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Able to lift, up to 30lbs
• Team player that is energized working with a team and autonomously
• Must have own transportation, not close to a bus route.
