Ingersoll Pharmasave is seeking a part-time to full-time pharmacist to join our team in a clinical role. The successful applicant would be guaranteed 24-40 hours per week, but hours can be flexible to meet the needs of the applicant.
Our pharmacy is located within the Ingersoll Centre for Health and Wellness. We are a busy independent pharmacy that has embraced automation (Script Pro), but retain a large staff in order to allow us to interact with our customers more freely. Our primary ambition is to provide an exceptional customer experience through traditional dispensing services and our ever-growing clinical offerings. We have embraced all aspects of the expanded scope of practice and designed clinical programs to meet our specific patient population's needs, as well as our professional interests.
Examples of these programs include:

Med Align, a program we designed around the Appointment Based model of care to improve compliance rates and patient outcomes.
Travel health consultation service. Run under a medical directive with the INPLC, we are a Health Canada Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre and perform about 80 consultations annually.
Injection services ranging from influenza to COVID-19 to travel health, but also including several under direct medical order, e.g. Abilify Maintena, Xolair, Depo-Provera, vitamin B12.
Minor ailment prescribing.
We have a longstanding partnership with South West Public Health to provide free nicotine replacement therapy and counselling to support quit attempts.
Naloxone training and opioid addiction treatment services (methadone/Suboxone).

The position will be primarily focused on clinical services at Ingersoll Pharmasave. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, providing, and expanding upon our current core clinical programs – minor ailments, Meds Checks, Med Align, injection services, and smoking cessation. New graduates who will be fully licensed in the near future are welcome to apply.
We are offering a starting wage of $55-$60/hour, commensurate with experience, and 4 weeks of paid vacation (8% vacation accrual). A signing bonus of up to $15,000 is available, depending on level of commitment. After a 3-month period, you will be added to our general benefits plan. OCP and OPA membership/licensing fees will be paid, a $500 continuing education allowance will be provided to invest in your continued education and growth and each year, an amount equal to 2% of the previous years earned wages will be contributed to an RSP of your choice. Front store purchases will be available at cost.
