Thornhill Employment Hub is assisting one of our employer partners with screening candidates for this position.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The employer is looking for a person with a mechanical and electrical aptitude to repair and service collision repair equipment (this includes Spot and MIG welders, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Rivet Guns, as well as frame and measuring systems); training on the equipment will also be part of the job and will be done virtually and/or in person.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
· Organizational skills,
· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written,
· Technical, electronic and mechanical knowledge, with previous experience repairing and servicing various pieces of equipment, preferably in the collision repair world
· Be a quick learner
· Have advanced computer skills in both Windows and MAC-based systems,
· Must know how to use a multimeter,
· Must be willing to travel across Canada. Although repairs are done in-house, customers are located throughout Ontario and other provinces.
· Experience in autobody repair is a plus
The ideal candidate MUST:
· Live in close proximity to the Vaughan area,
· Hold a valid driving licence with clean driving record,
Canadian passport with the ability to travel to the US for trade shows and/or training would be asset.
The company offers a base salary plus commission, service vehicle, and phone allowance, and all necessary tools will be provided.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
