We currently operate two manufacturing sites in Colborne and Elmira Ontario and have supporting warehouses and sales representatives across Canada and in the Northeastern United States.

Position: Day Shift Assistant

Location: CCC Sulphur Products (Elmira, ON.)

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Primary responsibilities:

• Maintain a high level of safety and environmental standards
• Provide support to operations and maintenance staff as required
• Become proficient and competent in all aspects of site operations
• Adhere to all CCC management systems, quality control policies and TDG regulations
• Uphold 5S housekeeping practices
• Work occasional 12hr shifts for vacation or emergency coverage
• Complete bulk acid loading/unloading into trucks and railcars
• Perform railcar inspections and preparations for loading/unloading and shipping
• Complete packaging depot operations: filling carboys, drums, and totes with acid products
• Operate 50% sulphuric acid system as required
• Accurately complete lab testing and paperwork associated with packaging
• Effectively communicate with customers, contractors, and neighboring facilities as required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Grade 12 High School Diploma
• 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment would be an asset
• Valid forklift license would be an asset
• Valid 4th class power engineer ticket or willing to obtain through self-study
