DELIVERY DRIVER -URGENT HIRE!
For over a decade, Heart to Home Meals has been providing healthy and nutritious meals to thousands of elderly customers in Canada who wish to remain independent in their own homes. Heart to Home Meals Vancouver was launched in April 2022.
In line with our business growth, we are expanding and looking for delivery drivers to drive our small, refrigerated van.
A Typical Day
- 8:00 am to 5:30 pm shift begins and ends at our Delta location.
- Load delivery bags from freezer into our refrigerated van.
- Carry out vehicle circle checks before and after each shift and record any discrepancies.
- Review route and delivery paperwork with office team before departure.
- Deliver 30-40 orders/day per the route schedule (using our delivery app)
- Put frozen meals into customers freezer, if requested.
- Collect payments from customers as needed.
- Communicate with the office on delays or discrepancies.
- Welcome new customers to our service and answer any questions they might have.
- Reconcile payments collected with office staff.
· Is an individual looking to be part of a team that is making a difference in the lives of seniors.
- Is an ambassador for Heart to Home Meals and always delivers exceptional customer service.
- Has a pleasant and friendly personality and is patient when dealing with seniors.
- Is a careful and conscientious driver.
- Is physically able to pick up meal order bags of max 5-6 pounds.
- Delivery driving experience preferred
- Criminal background check
- Must have a clean - valid Class 5 license
- Updated and clean driver’s abstract
- Proof of vaccination
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Delta, BC V4G 1J5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
