Purpose: Instructing ESL students in a warm and inviting environment
Responsibilities:
· prepare and deliver engaging lessons that facilitate an active learning experience
· observe and evaluate student's performance and development
· lead class discussions, assign homework / presentations, and administer tests
· grade and evaluate students' performance
· engaging students of various levels to participate in group discussions / activities
· provide appropriate feedback on work (written and verbal)
· encourage and monitor the progress of individual students
Qualifications / Education Requirements:
· University degree
· A completed TESL / TESOL or CELTA certificate recognized by TESL Canada
· Experience teaching various levels of ESL students
· Experience teaching ESL classes to adult learners
· Experience with Zoom is an asset
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9am-1pm, 2pm-4pm, or 6pm-9pm
Method of teaching:
Classes will be delivered in-person
There is a possibility that you can be assigned to multiple schedules if this works for you and the school (depending on your availability and experience).
