Finish/Grinder/Shipper/Receiver
Job summary:
Major area of work: All aspects of aluminum and steel finishing
Materials: 90% Aluminum and 10% steel
Weight Handling: 50 lbs +
Responsibilities:
- Finish, grind and repeat Aqualu products in a production setting
- Build custom pallets for shipping product
- Load shipments into trucks
- Drive forklift
- Grind custom aluminum jobs in the most cost effective way
- Must be a self starter and able to work alone with very little supervision
- The candidate must have experience in a manufacturing setting and be able to use different machines such as a chop saw, jig saw, grinders and routers
Qualifications:
· Experience working in a manufacturing environment
· Mechanical aptitude with ability to use all manufacturing tooling
· Punctuality and reliability are essential
· Ability to read and understand working drawings

Aqualu Industries Inc. is a full service welding, fabricating, manufacturing company located in beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia Canada. Our current facility encompasses 13,000 sq. ft. and can accommodate a wide variety of manufacturing demands.
Our primary area of expertise is aluminum fabrication including manufacturing replacement bodies and components for use in the off-road industry. General fabricating with specialized CNC cutting and forming. Our marine department also creates pontoons and sub-frames for the houseboat industry.
