Food and Beverage Server
We are seeking a skilled and resourceful Food and Beverage Server to join our exceptional team at the recently opened Eggsmart in Trenton, ON. This Full-Time position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your career and develop valuable skills. The ideal candidates will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. We are keen to hire individuals with a background in serving and supervising, as well as a love for food service, and excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Some of the job duties include setting up and breaking down tables, stocking supplies, greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and handling payments.
What you’ll do to be successful in this role:

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and drinks to customers
• Ensure that customers' orders are correctly inputted into the POS system
• Conduct a daily inventory of stock to make sure it is sufficient to meet customer demand
• Open, close, and secure the restaurant as necessary
• Ensure that the kitchen is ready to provide meals to customers when they are ordered
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all orders are prepared before delivery to customers
• Respond appropriately if there is a problem with the quality of food or service
• Provide support for front of house staff
• Provide a safe and fun environment for guests and staff
• Work well under pressure at peak order times
• Daily cleaning duties to maintain a high level of restaurant cleanliness
• Being a team player that works well with others
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring to the team:

• Proven experience as a Server or the equivalent
• Flexible schedule: available for day, weekend and morning shifts, as scheduled
• A positive attitude
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong work ethic and a passion for providing excellent service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong sense of civic pride
• A sociable and outgoing personality
• Ability to work in a standing position
