Thank you for considering our web developer position. We are a healthcare company that operates South Van Med.com, In Store Med.com and Ask Medication.com. We are on the lookout for an individual who has, at the minimum, two years' experience as follows:

• Proficient in client and server side javascript.
• Node.js, React, Redux, No SQL and Expressjs.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS.
• Experience with api and server development.
• Experience with responsive web design.
• Strong experience with OOP (object oriented programming).
• Computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms and performance optimization.

You would be the only full-time developer currently on our team. Our current developer will be available for assistance for limited hours per week. This is a remote (home office) position and we require 20-40 hours of commitment per week. You must reside in the Vancouver, BC area and have Canadian permanent residency or citizenship. After 3 months of employment, we offer free of charge our comprehensive benefits plan, which includes a dental and medical plan, to you, your spouse (if any) and your children (if any).
Please note that we utilize the Hubstaff service with screenshots for tabulating the number of hours worked. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and be able to troubleshoot. Please note that your supervisor will be a non-IT trained individual. Therefore, you must possess advanced IT skills for this position. If you are unable to problem solve on your own, this position is not for you. We have hired individuals who were not sufficiently skilled in the past and hope to avoid this in the future.
