Are you a passionate designer eager to showcase your creativity while gaining hands-on experience? Fresh Find is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to bring fresh and engaging visuals to life! As a Graphic Design Intern, you will work closely with our marketing and product teams to design assets that align with our brand and resonate with our audience of small food businesses. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your design skills in a meaningful way and make an impact on our brand identity.
You will create designs for our website, social media, marketing campaigns, and more. Whether it's designing promotional graphics, helping shape the user experience on our platform, or collaborating on creative marketing ideas, you’ll play an essential part in driving our brand forward.
Responsibilities
Job Types: Part-time, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually engaging graphics for our website, social media, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
- Assist in the design and layout of web pages, banners, social posts, and blog graphics.
- Help develop and maintain Fresh Find's brand identity through consistent design elements.
- Contribute ideas and participate in brainstorming sessions with the team to create innovative and visually compelling content.
- Work on projects that involve user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design for our ecommerce platform.
- Conduct research on design trends and help Fresh Find stay visually competitive in the ecommerce space.
- Ensure that all visuals are aligned with Fresh Find’s mission to support local food businesses.
- Must be enrolled currently in a postsecondary program in business, marketing, media, design, art, film, or communication related discipline
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design) or similar platforms like Canva and Figma.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.
- Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles is a plus.
- Experience in web design or social media design is advantageous.
- Ability to translate concepts into visually compelling designs.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote work environment.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
