Job Description:

Ground Handlers (ramp agents) work outside on the ramp around the UPS aircraft. This is an outdoor, physical, fast-paced position that involves the following:

Load air containers and packages onto the UPS plane
Operate ground equipment
Marshall and direct plane out of parking position
Remove safety equipment around the UPS plane and assist with next day set up

Work Location: 9272 Airport Road, Mount Hope, ON L0R 1W0

What UPS can offer:

Weekly compensation starting at $20.50 per hour ($17.30 + $3.20 hourly bonus)
Guaranteed wage increases through Union Collective Agreement. $30.09 per hour after seniority plus 48 months of service

Qualifications/Skills:

Must have a valid G2 or G class driver’s license (you will operate ramp vehicles/equipment)

Must have clean drivers abstract
Must be available to work 5 days a week
Must be able to lift up to 70lbs
No experience necessary - on the job training provided
Safety shoes/boots
Must enjoy working outdoors - where the majority of your shift will be spent

Part Time Twilight PM Evening Shift:

Monday to Friday (5 days a week)
Shift start time 8:45 PM and finish time approximately midnight
Shifts are generally 3 hours per day but may extend up to 5 hours during high volume and peak holiday season. Shift start and finish times will vary.
