General Maintenance Helper
We are currently looking for a permanent full-time employee (this opportunity is not suitable for students) available to work Tuesday through Saturday 7am-4pm (OT available) within our maintenance department. You will be assisting with general grounds duties, basic landscaping/snow removal, barn care, moving of company trucks (G licence required), and minor repairs. We are not on a bus route, you will need to have your own transportation.

Work environment

• Clear parking lot and outside area of store and plant from garbage and debris
• Lawn maintenance / snow removal
• Emptying of garbage from trucks
• Moving trucks around on company property (require G driver's licence)
• Daily maintaining of barn waste
• Knowledge of basic lawn care equipment required

Abilities :

• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
• Ability to work under pressure to meet completion of work orders
• Ability to lift approximately 50lbs
• Ability to preform physical and repetitive job duties
• A commitment to safety and quality practices
• Attention to detail and also demonstrate hand-eye coordination
• Basic English communication skills
• You are legally eligible to work in Canada

Hours:
Must be available Tuesday through Saturday between 7am-4pm - Nine hour shifts
