We are looking for someone who is willing to be the face of our venue, leaving a positive first impression on our guests. The candidate must have experience in a fast-paced venue and be a quick learner that can provide great customer service.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner
• Check guests in
• Escort guests to assigned seats
• Coordinate with wait staff status' and out by times
• Notify server/managers of important notes (allergies/special requests)
• Assist wait staff as needed
• Perform debit/credit transactions

Requirements:

• Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess in a high volume restaurant 2-3 years preferred
• Smart Serve Certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Must be proficient in a reservations system such as sevenrooms or opentable
• Able to walk/stand during entire shift
• A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff members
• Excellent communication skills
• Must have legal documents to work in Canada
