Veneer Sawmill
Industrial/Construction Electrician (Red Seal) - Veneer Sawmill
FULL TIME

The Position
- Read and understand diagrams, plans and specifications
- Perform the installation, verification and repair of cables, sockets, boxes, conduits, among others, devices of electrical industrial control systems and their devices
- Perform preventive maintenance of systems and devices and keep a maintenance log
- Be able to use specialized devices and software and quickly make diagnoses, while respecting occupational health and safety standards and laws
- Education required: Industrial or construction electrician diploma
- Having an electrical red seal (journeyman) or in the process of obtaining it
- Years of experience required: 2 to 5 years in an industrial environment is an asset
- Knowledge and experience of PLC programming (Allen Bradley)
- Demonstrate an interest in wanting to continue to learn and progress in the electrician / programmer profession and to be on the lookout for new developments in the field
- Be willing to work day and night shifts
- Be available to work weekends as needed
- Being bilingual is an asset but not required
- Meet the JDI selection criteria
- Concern for the quality of work

- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Be able to work in a team and in safe manner
