Summary:
Inventory Receiving Coordinator Leadhand is responsible for supporting the Supervisor in the maintenance of the ingredients and supplies used in the manufacturing facility.


Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

• Ensuring adequate inventories of required production products (SAPP, Dextrose, Salt, Filter Paper, etc), completes daily order planning for movement of materials
• Performs all tasks related to a computerized inventory control system, including accurate records of all receipts, issues warehouse and location transfers, and scheduled inventory cycle counts, HACCP, and WHMIS regulations
• Receiving, handling, storage, and issuing all goods in accordance with HACCP and WHMIS regulations
• Maintains an up to date daily paper backup of all inventory movements, accurate records of all non-stocked warehouse items
• Provide a smooth effective paper flow procedure making sure all departments concerned are notified daily
• Maintain a clean and well-organized work area (Dry storage, packaging staging area, and all storage racks)
• Shipping of return goods, pallets, shooks, corrugated corners, etc
• Supports the off-loading of cooking oil in a safe and efficient manner, maintains sufficient production levels of cooking oil in all three storage tanks
• Know and understand all packaging material backups, provides the production department with correct and adequate packing materials
• Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner, coach others the same
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Competencies)

• Intermediate computer skills required, SAP knowledge required
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, communicate to management as required
• High school graduate and can perform basic mathematical calculations
• Must have strong communication skills, ability to follow detailed instructions, and be able to maintain good working relationships with Supervision and coworkers as well as ability to work with minimal supervision
• Advocate for safe and respectful workplace, and supports a team-based atmosphere
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently using effective time management and organization skills

Required Length, Type of Experience & Licenses (if applicable)

• Must be willing to successfully complete Forklift, Personal Fall Protection and Scissor/Boom Lift training (minimum height requirement 20’). Must be able operate this equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Physical Requirements

• Physically capable of performing all required duties including some heavy lifting (up to 50lbs).
