We are offering an exciting opportunity for an IT Project Manager for a client based in Mississauga, Ontario. The role is hybrid 2-3 days a week.

This position will involve overseeing multiple IT projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with business goals, and managing resources effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the entire lifecycle of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strict adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define project goals and success metrics clearly.
• Evaluating trade-offs between project size, complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value.
• Developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, deliverables, and milestones, and making adjustments as needed to meet objectives.
• Managing a variety of resources including internal team members and external partners.
• Monitoring project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring financial control throughout the project.
• Providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders, maintaining transparency regarding project progress, challenges, and results.
• Ensuring all project deliverables meet the company’s standards for quality and align with business expectations.
• Assessing and resolving high priority project risks as they arise.
• Ensuring all projects meet success parameters and ROI targets stated in the business case.
• Overseeing project closeout, including handoff to operations, post-launch support, and documentation of lessons learned.

Skills: Cloud Technologies, Agile Scrum, Budget Processes, Trello, JIRA, Microsoft Project, PMP Certification, PRINCE2

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a track record of successfully managing a large portfolio of diverse IT projects.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred. Agile/Scrum certifications are a plus.
• Broad understanding of general IT principles including IT infrastructure, software development, data management, cybersecurity.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, or similar tools).
• Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex project environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues, think critically, and make effective decisions in fast-paced environments
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Comfortable working across various IT domains and able to adjust strategies to fit different project types and scopes.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
