Five Corners Meat Co., part of a family-owned global provider of high-quality specialty meat products, has an exciting opportunity for Meat Cutters, based out of our Edmonton, AB.
Our parent company, Donald’s Fine Foods is a family-owned business and has operated for over 30 years. We are a specialty meat processing and distribution company spanning six plants in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan, serving both domestic and international markets.

Brief Job Description for the Meat Cutter position.
Meat Cutters must be able to perform at least 3 of the following jobs at the line speed:
  • Pre-trimming/Final Trim
  • Operate all grind line equipment and sausage stuffer
  • Band Saw operator
  • Skinner Operator
  • Trayer/Overwrapper
  • Packaging (roll stock)/Injector/Label Box/Machine Operator
*Minimum knife skills and willingness to be trained
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
  • Physically fit and able to lift, push, and/or pull, weight of up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience in food manufacturing within a fast-paced environment is an asset
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ensure safe and hygienic practices are applied to all tasks performed
  • Must be legally allowed to work in Canada
Required PPEs are provided including:
  • Steel-toed boots, Hard hat
  • Hearing protection
  • Arm Guard, Mesh Gloves, Rubber Gloves
  • Apron and Smock
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.85 per hour
Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
