We are looking for a motivated Steel Fabricator/ Fabricator Apprentice to join our team at our shop in Delta, BC.
Shift Schedule:
Monday – Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Monday – Thursday 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM

Requirements:

• 1 years’ experience in structural steel fabrication
• Have own basic tools and equipment
• Able to read drawings
• Excellent communication skills
• Enrolled or willing to enroll with ITA Skilled Trades in a Fabricator apprenticeship

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment according to blueprints and specifications
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, and weld metal components
• Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical documents to determine project requirements
• Measure and mark dimensions using calipers, rulers, and other measuring instruments
• Use basic math skills to calculate measurements, angles, and dimensions
• Lift and move heavy materials using cranes, forklifts, or other equipment
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools
