Job Description
Guardteck Security’s Mobile Patrol Services provide with 24/7 dispatch and real-time reporting to ensure constant vigilance and rapid response. We provide services to wide range of properties including Office Buildings, residential properties, and educational institutions.
Guardteck Security is looking for a friendly, outgoing, and experienced Mobile Security Officer in Burnaby, BC.
Wage: $19.00 to $21.00 an hour
What are we looking for?
  • Valid security License.
  • OFA Certificate – First Aid Level 1.
  • Valid Driving License with a clear driving abstract.
  • Top notch customer service skills.
  • Proficient in English language (verbal and written)
  • Prior security experience is required.
  • Flexible availability including weekends and overnights.
  • At least 1 year of driving experience.

Responsibilities/Duties include:
  • Strong observation and communication skills.
  • Create proficient-detailed incident reports.
  • Conduct regular patrols in a timely manner.
  • Respond to alarms and coordinate with client.
  • Ability to act with organization’s code and conduct.
  • Assist with after-hours scheduling.
  • Ability to respond to emergency incidents.
  • Effectively communicate with Operations Manager.
  • Report issues in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ability to analyze situations and de-escalate accordingly.
  • Ability to perform job related assigned tasks.
  • Exercise good judgement dealing with tense situations.
  • Create Shift Summary reports for manager’s review.
  • Must be able to follow procedures and set routines effectively.
  • Ability to respond to alarms and notifying dispatch.
