Newspaper Delivery Driver (Casual)

Flyer Services Ltd., a division of Advocate Printing and Publishing, is currently searching for a team player who is looking for an opportunity to perform local driving on a part-time basis. This position will start the first week in January. In this position, the successful candidate will deliver company products (newspapers) and unload them to approximately 80 stops between Kentville and Middleton. As a casual employee, the driving position is for 2 days every second week, currently on Fridays and/or Saturdays. The successful candidate will use their own car for the deliveries.
Qualifications and Requirements

Proven work experience as a driver.
Clear and clean drivers abstract.
Must have their own car.
Adaptable with foresight to handle unexpected traffic and weather conditions.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds of bundled printed material.
Able to read and comprehend printed and verbal training instructions.
Work requirements include standing, sitting, bending, lifting, crouching, and twisting.
Able to safely perform all job requirements.
Must comply with personal and co-worker safety measures while working.
Must comply with all company policies, safety training, procedures, practices, standards and guidelines.
