The key to providing this exceptional service level is our team and we are currently considering candidates for the following position:
Night Audit Agent
Key Responsibilities
This is an overnight shift and begins at 11:00pm. The successful candidate will consistently provide a warm welcome and exceptional experiences to our guests in a prompt and courteous manner within the framework of hotel and departmental guidelines. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
  • Check-in and check-out services
  • Answering guest inquiries, accommodating special requests and assisting in resolving and concerns or issues in person or via telephone
  • Prepare, check, and correct room rate variances by conducting thorough audits
  • Ensure wake-up calls are set for the morning to ensure accuracy & complete as required
  • Runs the nightly processing sequence to reset systems for the next days' use
  • Prepares and transmits credit card deposits
  • Balance the rooms audit
  • Keep team informed of all problems, emergencies and unusual matters of significance
  • Adheres to all established credit and inventory control procedures
  • Present statement of charges to departing guests and receive payment
  • Identify and record special billing instructions and notify Accounting
  • Minimize loss of revenue by adhering to all established credit and inventory control procedures
  • Ensure the security of keys, company and guest information
  • Report unsafe work conditions, areas requiring repair or suspicious persons
  • Must be able to assist with parking and retrieving of guest vehicles if required
  • Assisting with emergency response as required
Qualifications:
  • This is an excellent opportunity for an, energetic, self-motivated, team-oriented individual, with a minimum 2 years previous customer service experience.
  • 1 year's previous guest service/front desk or accounting experience is required
  • Previous professional experience requiring the use of a computer is required
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems required, OPERA (or similar) and additional languages are an asset.
  • A valid driver's license with clean drivers abstract; the ability to drive manual (standard) vehicles is an asset.
  • Proven, exceptional guest service and communication (both verbal and written) skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Position requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift.
