Night Cleaner
Victoria

This is a full-time position that requires overnight availability between the hours of 10pm and 6am or 11pm and 7am.
Description of Duties:
- Ensure that established cleanliness standards are maintained in all areas of the Hotel
- Clean floors, carpets and windows
- Respond to requests for housekeeping item deliveries
- Communicate guest concerns to ensure the highest level of service is provided
- Report any maintenance concerns to ensure safety standards are met
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
- Experience using heavy cleaning machinery an asset
- Adaptable to changing demands
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical position
- Excellent attention to detail
- WHMIS certification desired
- Clear and effective communication skills
- An efficient self-starter
- Able to handle and move objects weighing up to 30 lbs over short distances
- Able to occasionally push carts weighing up to 200 lbs over moderate distances
- Available to work over 30 hours per week
- Experience working overnight shifts preferred
