Hiring Experienced Online English Instructors!
Job Summary:
Canada Ututoring Learning Institute is a non-profit organization committed to providing accessible, inclusive and high-quality educational support with an extremely affordable rate.
We are seeking dedicated and experienced tutors to join our team. For this position, we are hiring:
- English (Elementary/High school level) Instructors
*instructors need to be familiar with the Ontario Curriculum.
Experience:
  • Previous experience in education, tutoring, or related field is REQUIRED! Do not apply if you have 0 experience in teaching/tutoring!
  • Strong knowledge of the subject(s) you will be tutoring
  • For Language related tutoring, you must have a very solid background of French knowledge, in terms of methods to improve children's writing, reading and speaking, and overall confidence in language use
  • Experience working with children or adolescents
  • Excellent communication especially expressing skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the unique learning styles of each student
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate students
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement personalized lesson plans based on the individual needs of each student based on recommended textbooks
  • Provide small group tutoring sessions to students
  • Help students improve their academic performance and achieve their learning goals
  • Design tests and quizzes to keep track of and enhance students' learning process
  • Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and enhance their understanding of the subject matter
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to us and their parents
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tutoring sessions with classroom curriculum
  • Maintain a positive, supportive and intellectually stimulating learning environment

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1.5 – 10 per week
