POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Order Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all orders are picked with accuracy and efficiency to meet customer expected delivery dates. They will play a critical role in leading, training and coaching team members on all order fulfillment processes ensuring all team members have the knowledge and support required to successfully execute our core mission—Shipping the correct seed, to the correct customer, on time, every time..

The Order Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for setting a good working example and maintaining a positive work environment. Developing strong working relationships and clear communication between all departments is imperative.
ORDER FULFILLMENT
- Oversee the building of pre-pack orders prior to peak shipping season based on forecasts from Inventory Planning & Demand Supervisor
- Replenish hot selling sold out pre-packs in season as requested by Inventory Planning & Demand Supervisor, filling all other sold-out pre-packs ‘on the fly’ to ensure fastest possible turn around time on all orders
- Oversee printing of all package labels, ensuring accuracy of information on labels
- Oversee picking orders with focus on product accuracy and customer expected delivery dates
- Oversee packaging of orders ensuring order quality assurance standards are being adhered to and correcting any pick errors in a timely manner
- Ensure that bin locations are kept organized in a logical, consistent order for all inventory items
- Maintain a continuous improvement mindset in looking for optimizations and efficiencies amongst the order fulfillment process
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by ensuring orders are being picked from correct bin locations and proper processes are being followed on the software side of picking
- Lead the annual inventory counts and periodic cycle counts throughout the year as required
- Spot check physical bin inventory levels against Business Central inventory in season in an effort to proactively identify any potential inventory discrepancies or issues requiring resolution.
- Host daily/weekly team meetings to provide updates, highlight priorities, recognize positive outcomes and take feedback on areas requiring potential improvement
- Assign, prioritize and schedule work in areas of responsibility
- Train & supervise order fulfillment associates in Business Central and Warehouse Insight
- Assist with staff interviews and perform staff reviews
- Approve payroll and manage time off requests for all subordinate team members
- Run reports, review orders and identify problems or errors requiring resolution
- Oversee the processing of customer returns
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations, business or relevant on the job experience
- 3+ years’ experience in Warehousing / Distribution order processing.
- Prior leadership and supervisory experience required.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of warehousing and inventory management best practices, RF Scanners
- Experience working with inventory management software, warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP systems
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
- Work well under pressure in a time sensitive environment.
- Ability to manually lift / carry product / boxes of various sizes up to 50 lbs.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

- Secondary School (preferred)
