We're looking for a Pharmacy Assistant to work in our small independent pharmacy in Capitol Hill. The right candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with prescription refills, answering any questions customers have about the pharmacy's services, and blister packaging. Our ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience working at a pharmacy in Alberta and will be prepared to work both independently and with other employees.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor inventory and place orders.
  • Clean and sanitize work area.
  • Stock work area with medications, medical supplies, and medical instruments.
  • Prepare medications and fill prescriptions in accordance with established procedures.
  • Blister packaging
  • Provide customer service to customers.
  • Adhere to all pharmacy safety regulations.
  • Document what happens in the pharmacy using proper recordkeeping methods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
