JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced 40T Picker Operator to work on site loading, hauling, and setting of piping spools from 2” to 36”. Experience pulling trailers and working in congested areas are a must.
OBJECTIVES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate 45 Ton Mobile Picker to lift, move, position or place pipe and materials.
• Perform pre-operational inspection and calculate crane capacities and weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting.
• Responsible for conducting mechanical & safety inspections as required.
• Responsible for various administrative tasks including filling out Field Level Hazard Assessment, toolbox, timesheet etc.
• Follow safety policies and procedures while loading, traveling and on jobsites are essential in this role.
• Attend toolbox talk meetings and safety meetings as required.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, and dusty environments.
• Have a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Possess good communication skills and be able to communicate with supervisors, colleagues, etc. in a polite and professional manner.
• Other duties may be assigned if needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS and PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of five years
• Experience with GPS systems an asset.
• Certified Hoisting Ticket (Crane)
• Must have a valid class 1 driver's license with air brake endorsement – candidate to provide a clean 5-year commercial driver's abstract.
• Able to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment alcohol, drug, and marijuana testing.
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Must be immediately eligible/able to work in Canada.
• CSTS 09, PCST, WHMIS 2015, H2S Alive, TDG, First Aid, CSO
