We are looking for a new person to join our team of picklers! We are looking for someone that has the ability to keep a fast pace, learn our processes and then become our head processor. This is a different and original position that is going to be suited for a specific type of person. We are entering our slow season, so days are Tuesday to Thursday, with some Fridays. We run fewer days in the winter and much more in the spring / summer. This is a different type of cooking / kitchen work than your classic restaurant or processing facility. We make a large selection of pickles and preserves in high volumes in a very grassroot environment.
Being young business owners with a small team, our work environment is fun, hard working, energetic & fast paced. We are focused on growing BC Brine to make BC known for producing the best pickles in Canada. We only have a small team but are the largest pickling company in British Columbia and we currently supply over 650 retailers and restaurants and that continues to grow!
This is a great job for anyone who has worked as a cook, in food production / service, in a restaurant and everything in-between.
We have some degree of flexibility on a start date, but as soon as we find the right person, they can start!

To consider:
You’ll be on your feet all day and it gets hot during the summer months and cold in the winter.
You will be lifting up to 50lb at a time. Pickles and produce are heavy!
