Job Description
Power Engineer
Be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of plant and mechanical facilities for our 519-room hotel, working on the installation and upkeep of electrics and boilers.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
Starting Pay Rate: $32.00 per hour.
We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $39.50 per hour.
Job Duties Include:

Preventative maintenance and servicing of physical plant and mechanical facilities
Services and repairs in all public and guest areas
Installation and troubleshooting of electrical equipment, including lighting and other controls
120-220V wiring in restaurants, pool and public areas
Maintenance and replacement of boiler motors.

Qualifications

4th Class Power Engineering designation required
Pool Operator certificate is an asset
Knowledge of energy management systems and HVAC an asset
