RNN Medical is currently hiring Primary Care Paramedics (PCP's), registered as a PCP in the province of BC. Work is based out of our Dawson Creek, BC Office.
The main function of the Primary Care Paramedics (PCP) is to provide onsite Emergency Medical Services within the scope of your PCP practice. Dual AB - BC Registered PCP's will be considered, this position is in BC "On the Road" candidates can reside in AB, BC, or SK but must have at minimun a BC PCP License!
COMPENSATION:

• Daily Day Rate of $354/Per Day
• Daily LOA Rate of $81/Per Day
• Hourly Travel Rate for MOB/DEMOB: $20/HR Non-Taxable up to 10 hours max in/ot (Max $200 for MOB in / Max $200 for DEMOB)
• OT Payable
• Accommodations always provided (No Cost to Medic)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Respond to emergency calls 24/7 as per your scope of practice.
• Administrative duties to include sign all onsite personnel In and Out of site and keep accurate records
• Client paperwork as requested, safety tickets records, patient files, etc.
• Attend, and sometimes facilitate, daily safety meetings
• May be required to give safety presentations
• Education and development of junior staff.
• Obtain and maintain current all required certifications/certificates

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered as PCP (In BC)
• H2S Alive - Energy Safety Canada
• WHMIS / TDG (if required) / New Hire Training
• CPR Level HCP
• Driver License – Class 5 (or equivalent) (Note: if driving Ambulance Class “4” required)
• Driver Abstract (current within 30 days of hire)
• CSO - Energy Safety Canada (Online)

SKILLS:

• Excellent, positive interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Functional knowledge and abilities with computer operations, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Effectively organize and prioritize situations and activities ranging from urgent patient care issues to routine office duties
• Must be reliable, dependable, and capable of working in a fast paced, team environment

Leadership / Relationships (Internal and External):

• Act as on-site medical coordinator
• Acts as the main liaison between Wolf and clients
• Works in co-ordination with Wolf Logistics / Dispatch
• Maintains positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and employees Supervision
• Works under limited supervision
• Reports to Operations Management / Field Supervision
