Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end Cosmos DB Mongo DB API gateway service
• Collaborate with partner teams and management both upstream and downstream dependencies
• Assume ownership in building highly performant and scalable gateway service
• Proactively improve service telemetry revealing gaps in all areas ranging from availability to serviceability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, Java Script, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of RUST programming experience.

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
  • This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, Java Script, or Python
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, Java Script, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Experience with life cycle of service development, deployment and servicing.
• Experience with existing open-source api stack like Mongo DB is a huge plus.
• 5+ years technical experience working with large-scale cloud or distributed systems.
• Management Information Systems (MIS), or other industry or product specific Engineering Certifications.
• 6+ years of RUST programming expertise in scalability improvements.
