About the opportunity
Dayforce is looking for a Product Manager, to join our Platform Services Product team! It will be your mission as Product Manager, Platform Services to bring the next generation of framework capabilities to life, such as messaging, notifications, document management, and other core frameworks that will strengthen Dayforce’s standing in Gartner’s Leader quadrant.
You will be a key member on the Platform Services product team, whose mission is to empower our internal application teams to efficiently deliver high quality, lovable products through modern platform technology and thought leadership. What you’ll get to do
  • Drive initiatives with a passion and enthusiasm
  • Serve as the voice of the user in conversations and during collaboration with design, tech, and business partners
  • Drive discussions with customers, users, and developers on execution of product intent
  • Communicate key user needs, vision, strategy and value to the stakeholders and the wider organization, and provide thought leadership
  • Identify, prioritize, maintain, and execute against both the backlog and roadmap using a data driven approach
  • Deliver end-to-end products focusing on functionality, performance, security, scalability, resiliency, localization, and integrations.
  • Manage the risk of poorly developed software by ensuring the team is focused on building the right product for the right user at the right time
  • Operate effectively and independently in an agile environment
  • Motivate and inspire colleagues without direct authority
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and competition
Skills and experience we value
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration / Computer Information Systems or equivalent degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Manager working directly with agile development teams
  • A history of successful management of cross-functional projects
  • Successfully launched product from ideation
  • Experience writing user stories, doing user research, decomposing technical projects​
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences​

  • Highly organized, disciplined self-starter, capable of working independently or in close collaboration within an Agile development team
  • Proficient with analytical and data tools, including MS Office and SQL
  • Demonstrable understanding of Microsoft Azure, microservices, messaging, notifications, and document management. Familiarity with architectural frameworks is preferred.
  • Experience with global human capital management system, mobile application and consumer app design and development is desired
  • Technical background with development experience is highly desirable
