Stuyvers has enjoyed steady growth over the years, and we are currently looking for an experienced sanitation work to join our afternoon shift team!

Key Responsibilities:
- Clean production plant stations and overall automated production facility
- Empty various large bins throughout the production plant, including garbage and production waste
- Mop, vacuum and maintain floors throughout the building, freezers and production areas
- Keep various items and materials stocked throughout the plant and building
- Conduct wash down of equipment, bins, tubs etc in wash down room
- Maintain outside areas such as waste disposal, shipping materials, and dispose of cardboard and excess materials
- Clean and maintain common areas such as washrooms, hallways, lunch room, offices
- Be on alert and ready to assist when a situation arises where immediate attention is required
- Other duties and tasks as assigned to you
- One+ years’ experience as a sanitation worker in a food manufacturing/production facility
- Knowledge of chemicals and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) - we provide training on site as well
- Experience using various sanitation equipment(s)
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role - pushing, pulling, lifting, bending throughout the day (up to 75 lbs)
- Ability to build and maintain working relationships with team members
- Reliable and dependable, punctual and good attendance
- Ability to identify potential issues and solve problems
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Work well under pressure and take accountability

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
