Seasonal Part-Time Photo Editor

We are currently looking for a Seasonal Part-Time Photo Editor. The candidate must be located within Canada, however, this job is entirely performed online. This role requires a computer and reliable internet.

Job: Seasonal Photo Editor
Department: Design
Schedule: Part-time hours with the opportunity for more shifts to meet business needs; some weekend shifts required.
Reports to: Customer Experience Supervisor
Hourly Rate: $18.90 CAD
Job Summary: Responsible for creating and managing large volumes of digital artwork while demonstrating superior communications skills and innovative solutions. The Seasonal Photo Editor will work with customers images, requests and provide and edit the images to best assist the customers vision. They will be responsible for quickly and accurately editing images throughout our busiest season.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Editing images in Adobe Photoshop using actions, effects and other Photoshop features
- Optimizing images by retouching photos based on specific customer requests
- Interacting with customers to recommend rectifications or improvements that would enhance their photos.
- Remain detail oriented by ensuring accuracy and quality of workmanship while managing large volumes.
- Perform other duties as required
- Post secondary education in Graphic Design or a related field
- 1-2 years design experience
- Apple/Computer savvy
- Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- This specialist must be located within Canada, however this job is entirely performed online.
- The person hired for this position must have a computer capable of running Photoshop efficiently and strong/reliable internet connection. They must also have a microphone or phone for meetings.
- Knowledge of Photoshop automation
- Love of photography
- Print design experience
- Creative and passionate about the web and new technologies
- Thrives on working under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Self-motivated, can also work independently without constant supervision
- Applies initiative, creativity and strategic thinking when approaching challenges
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Active interest in the company
