Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Second Engineer to join our team on board the Factory Freezer scallop dragger M.V. "Maude Adams".
The minimum Transport Canada Certificate Ticket required for the position is : Watchkeeping Engineer Motor Driven Vessel.
Must be able to take direction and work as part of a team to ensure the efficient operation of machinery of vessel while at sea.
Duties
1. Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of the following:
- Main Engine
- Generator Engine
- Refrigeration Equipment
- Deck Equipment
- Factory Equipment
- any other equipment that requires maintenance to ensure the operation of the vessel
The vessel is at sea for 14 Days and in port for 7 Days.
The number of days at sea varies per year but on average the vessel spends 150 days at sea per year.
