Link Suspensions of Canada, LP is looking for a Shipper and Receiver to join our Nisku, AB team!
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
· Responsible for well-organized and efficient preparation and handling of incoming and outgoing materials.
· Maintain clear lines of communication with team members as to the status of orders and supplying PRO numbers and or Bill of Ladings.
· Alert supervisor of any issues related to accuracy of orders of their on-time delivery.
· Maintain all paperwork related to receiving and shipping accurately.
· Ensure waybills are accurate.
· Ensure all paperwork is scanned and saved to the Share drive for tracking and audit purpose daily.
· Monitor packaging material and maintain its inventory level.
· Professional and courteous response to internal and external inquiries regarding shipment details.
· Prepare bills of lading and document details for shipment, including adherence to NAFTA guidelines.
· Coordinate transport of all inbound and outbound product when required.
· Load and unload truck when required.
· Receive Consumable / Purchased material into warehouse & into software system when required.
·Pick and package parts for customers.
· Work with Quality Control incoming or outgoing inspection if required.
· Participate in Weekly Cycle Counts & generate counts in Supervisors absence.
· Aid in Investigations for cycle count discrepancy.
· Monitor Back log report in Supervisors absence.
Education/Experience:
· Minimum grade 12 education
· Minimum 2 years of experience operating a forklift.
· Experience with shipping / receiving in an Industrial environment.
· Valid Drivers License.
· Computer skills with MS Office, familiar with ERP systems is an asset
· Strong organizational skills
· Customs and border crossing documentation experience
· Inventory Control is an asset.
