Reports To: Snowmaking Supervisors/Manager
Department: Operations
Status: Full Time Seasonal
Start Date: Immediately
Snowmaking Team members work as part of a team within the Operations department under the
direction of the Snowmaking Supervisors and Snowmaking Manager. They make rounds in vehicles
and/or snowmobiles to monitor quality control and weather conditions during snowmaking. They work
outside in all weather conditions, shift work is required and some shifts may be on an on call basis,
contingent on weather conditions and ticket sales levels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to the following):
Responsible for placement and proper set up of all snowmaking hardware
Follow proper pump station and water management procedures (training provided)
Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand
and power tools
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
Perform work duties in adverse weather conditions
Interface with other departments to maintain effective communication during mountain
operations
Maintain a clean work environment
QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:
Intermediate ski/board ability required
Previous snowcat experience an asset
Competent snowmobile ability required
Reliable transportation to and from work
Appropriate footwear required
Some heavy lifting over 50 lbs. required-
Must be physically and mentally fit with an attitude "It can be done"!
Attention to detail, safety and work ethic are non-negotiable

Must be able to legally work in Canada
Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured transportation to get to/from the mountain
