• 3+ years of engineering team management experience
• 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience
• 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams

The Trusted Advisor team is looking for a Software Development Leader to spearhead the next evolution of Trusted Advisor. This leader will evolve our AI-powered engine to uncover best practices not previously codified by humans, by leveraging the vast configuration and health insights available across AWS. This leader will drive the development of automation engines that resolve issues on customers' behalf with minimal human intervention, while implementing robust safety guardrails to protect customers from adverse impact on their businesses. The base salary for this position ranges from $171,400/year up to $286,200/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
