Job Purpose
The Stock Keeper will be responsible for stocking the Parts department. The Stock Keeper will receive and ship parts coming into and leaving the department and keeping them organized.

Our Jaguar Land Rover Thornhill Luxury Dealership is looking for a Stock Keeper to join our amazing team!
Job Purpose
The Stock Keeper will be responsible for stocking the Parts department. The Stock Keeper will receive and ship parts coming into and leaving the department and keeping them organized.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack orders and stock parts, ensuring that they are adequately organized.
- Ensure that all parts are correctly picked and checked prior to being delivered.
- Maintain full brochure displays at all times.
- Report any parts losses or damage to the Parts Manager.
- Return all replaced parts and core parts to the manufacturer or the supplier.
- Submit all damage and discrepancy claims to the manufacturer or the supplier.
- Ensure that all Warranty parts are returned and put away.
- Assist in inventory bin checks as required.
- Maintain good relationships with all couriers and suppliers.
- Attend training courses as required.
- Ensure that the Parts Department is kept in a high standard of cleanliness.
- Performs other duties, based on management requirements and instructions.
- Assist in keeping parts clean and shelf section area stocked and orderly.
- Must be able to do heavy lifting of equipment parts and tools as required from time to time.
- Pack and load/unload parts correctly.
- Put all parts away and ensure every part has BIN location in the CDK system
- Picking parts according to invoices, pick tickets, return labels
- Collect core parts and store them according to established procedures
- Organise locking wheel nuts storage for prompt service
- Accurately gather individual orders shortly after parts arrival and have them ready for delivery
- Collecting and making sure payments are valid and matching invoices
- Handling returns, making sure parts are in resalable condition and matching original invoice
- Receiving over 700 items per week in stock
- Check all goods coming to parts department against packing slips (matching quantities and part number)
- Check on condition of fragile parts
- Test every battery up on arrival
- Create serial number for each battery and record it together with test code in battery log
- Test all batteries in stock every month and repeat above procedure
- Perpetual inventory control on weekly basis
- Inventory control on yearly basis
- Manually handle engines, transmissions, barrels, wheels, tires, skids of oil...
- Maintain clean and safe environment (removal of garbage, skids, barrels)
- Purge warranty parts after warranty claims approved
- Core parts return process (collecting, labeling, shipping)
- Buyback parts return process (collecting, labeling, shipping)
- Coming to work at 7 am to make sure other departments are not affected by parts shipments
- Understanding of processes related to other departments to makes sure parts department actions don’t affect their operation in negative way
- Deliver parts to wholesale customers in case of too many deliveries
- Work closely with parts manager and other parts personnel
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Automotive industry or other retailing experience.
- Computer and stock control system knowledge.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Good judgement.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Professional appearance & friendly disposition.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Very strong attention to detail.
