How you’ll make an impact:

As a student in Digital Applications Development, you will have the opportunity to:

Analyze on-line customer behavior and develop classification models
Participate in developing "proof of concept" responsive web designs
Assist with the investigation of our next generation Web platform.
Ad hoc programming assignments to support our Digital Applications Development Team.
Collaborate with business partners to help identify, recommend and prioritize new application features
Work with team members in the designing, coding, testing, debugging and implementation of new Web pages and sites and Mobile applications, adhering to Fidelity standards and practices

What we’re looking for:

Working towards a university degree with a concentration in Computer Science or related technical program, ideally in your 3rd or 4th year of study.
A keen interest and knowledge of Web development
A desire to work on usability and client experience standards
Strong understanding of Internet programming languages, including Java, Java Script, HTML/HTML5 technologies, Java Script, CSS, CSS3 and the j Query libraries
Knowledge of Application Servers such as tomcat would be an asset
Knowledge of Automation and Selenium would be an asset.
A creative aptitude focused on User Experience Design
You must be currently enrolled in a registered co-op program to be considered for this position
You must also be available for the full duration of the co-op term

You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement.

Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.
