In the position of Terminal Labourer, the successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading containers along with other tasks within a warehouse environment.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Loading and unloading materials from containers into the warehouse, and vice versa.
- Verifying item and quantity to ensure accuracy in storage and shipment placement.
- Locating, picking and pulling shipments in an accurate and timely manner.
- Repackaging or relocating shipments as required.
- Scanning and doing an inventory of items.
- Organizing the warehouse and terminal.
- Performing general labour and cleaning tasks as required.
- Ensuring accurate record keeping of tasks onsite.
- Ensuring paperwork related to transloading or storage is complete and accurate.
- Adhering to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
- Other duties as required.
- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
